Product Safety

At MyDogon, our objects are selected not only for their sculptural character and craftsmanship, but also with safe handling and display in mind.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the objects offered by MyDogon are decorative objects intended for indoor display. They are not toys and are not intended for use by children.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Many of our sculptures are made from cast copper alloys or solid wood. Depending on their design, they may be relatively heavy and may include narrow, pointed, projecting or irregular elements.

Keep decorative objects out of reach of small children.
Place sculptures securely on a stable, level surface.
Handle heavy objects with both hands whenever possible.
Avoid positioning objects where they may easily be knocked over or pulled down.
Take particular care with projecting elements such as arms, legs, horns, reins, spears, handles or carved details.

WOODEN OBJECTS & DOORS

Carved wooden doors and larger wooden objects can be relatively heavy. If an object is displayed on a wall, suitable mounting hardware must be selected according to the object's weight and the construction of the wall.

If you are uncertain about wall mounting, we recommend using a suitably qualified installer. MyDogon does not supply universal mounting hardware unless expressly stated in the product description.

DECORATIVE VESSELS, CUPS, SPOONS & BOXES

Objects whose form resembles cups, bowls, spoons, medicine boxes, pharmacopoeia boxes or other functional vessels are sold as decorative objects only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

They are not intended for the preparation, serving or storage of food, beverages or medicines.

INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

Each product page contains information specific to the item, including its dimensions, weight, product identification and, where relevant, additional safety instructions.

Because many of our objects are individually made, their shape, balance and projecting elements can differ from one piece to another. Please always refer to the photographs and product-specific information before purchase and display.

IF AN OBJECT ARRIVES DAMAGED

If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, or if you notice an issue that could affect its safe display or handling, please do not continue to handle or display the object unnecessarily.
