Right of Withdrawal and Returns Policy

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer and the statutory right of withdrawal applies to your order, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, received the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement.

You may inform us by email, use the model withdrawal form provided below, or use the electronic withdrawal function available in our online shop: https://shopify.com/111065334098/account.

You do not have to use the model withdrawal form.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.

If you use the electronic withdrawal function in our online shop, we will promptly send you confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium, such as by email.

Returning the Goods

After notifying us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, you must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period has expired.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising your statutory right of withdrawal, unless we expressly agree to bear those costs.

We recommend using an appropriate and traceable shipping method for valuable or fragile items.

Original packaging is not a requirement for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal. However, where reasonably possible, we recommend using the original packaging or similarly protective packaging to help prevent damage during transport.

You are only responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Refunds Following Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option will not be reimbursed.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive your notification of withdrawal.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we will use the same payment method for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any fees from us as a result of the reimbursement.

Please note that your bank, credit card provider or payment service provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us at info@mydogon.com if an item arrives damaged, is defective, or if you receive an incorrect item.

Please include your order number and, where useful, photographs showing the issue so that we can resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Your statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected by this policy. Where goods are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied and the seller is legally responsible, you will not be required to bear return costs that must legally be borne by us.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where a legal exception applies.

In particular, it may not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and are produced according to an individual choice or specification made by the customer, or goods that are clearly personalised to the customer's individual needs.

This exception does not apply merely because an item is handmade, individually crafted, unique, or available only once. Standard MyDogon statues offered for sale from our existing inventory remain subject to the applicable statutory right of withdrawal.

Exchanges

We do not currently operate a direct exchange service.

If you would like a different item, you may exercise your applicable right of withdrawal for the original purchase and place a separate order for another available item.

This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Customers Outside the European Union

For customers outside the European Union, additional or different mandatory consumer rights may apply depending on the country of residence.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

Any import duties, taxes or customs charges associated with an international order or return will be handled in accordance with the applicable law and the terms disclosed during the ordering process.
